Marcie Bober-Michel
Professor/Chair/Graduate Advisor, Department of Learning Design and Technology, San Diego State University
Dr. Marcie J. Bober is an Associate Professor of Educational Technology (EDTEC) at San Diego State University (SDSU), and Chair of the Department. At SDSU she teaches field-based courses where students work directly with community-based clients to conduct both voluntary and mandated evaluation studies. Dr. Bober is a frequent presenter at technology conferences focused on evaluation of solutions aimed at improved human performance. She consults extensively with private and public organizations interested in assessing how their interventions affect both work processes and learner skills knowledge, and attitudes. Central to her research is the notion of instructional accountability—and the ways in which that term affects how we measure program or product quality and effectiveness.
