Angela van Barneveld has been in the training and learning industry for over 15 years as an instructional designer, program manager, and consultant. She currently works for a top Fortune 100 company and is also an adjunct professor at Purdue University, where she earned her PhD in Learning Design and Technology. She has developed online learning strategies for education, government, and private sector organizations, and volunteers as a reviewer for professional and academic journals and conferences. Another highlight for her has been her time as a Research Committee member at The eLearning Guild, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
