Creative Director, Attensi

Gaute Godager has had a unique double career—one as a clinical psychologist and another as a games developer. He co-founded Norwegian gaming studio Funcom in 1993, where he worked for 15 years. He then obtained his PhD in clinical psychology, before becoming creative director at Attensi. Gaute heads up the creative team at Attensi, which has offices in London, Oslo, and California. He is fascinated by the educational side of playing games, using them as a teaching and training tool. Gaute is a proponent of gamification in the work environment, helping to make learning a fun and engaging experience. Instead of just being "taught", users are asked to explore and satisfy their curiosity. It is this application of behavioral science that sets Attensi apart in the learning and development space.
