Chris Atherton
Software User Experience Consultant,
Chris Atherton is a software user experience consultant based in the UK. Before joining the digital industry, she was a senior lecturer in psychology, conducting research into the effects of different visual communication styles on memory and learning. Chris has worked for companies such as Skype and the BBC, and is currently working on one of several UK Government projects that aim to improve public-facing products and services. Chris can usually be found on Twitter, where she tweets as @finiteattention and discusses anything attention- and usability related, from brains to improving the customer experience in stores. Her experiences in learning and teaching are blogged at the now largely dormant http://finiteattentionspan.wordpress.com, though she hopes to return to long-form blogging any day now, honestly.
