Richard Karel’s 11 years of experience as an e-Learning systems designer include employment with Sea Ray Boats, the Brunswick Boat Group, and his own consulting firm. His accomplishments involve building and deploying online learning systems, such as a sales and product training certification system for MasterCraft Boats and creating the University of Tennessee’s Extension Online Learning (extOL). Richard's career spans many areas of IT and training, including help-desk support and technical trainer, and he is currently a regular contributor to Training Media Review. Richard holds a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology and Educational Studies from the University of Tennessee Knoxville, where he currently works in the Office of Information Technology.
