Learn Through Play
What do you get when you mix drinks, games, and learning? Game Crawl! This fun and informative event takes place on Tuesday, March 27. You’ll sample a wide variety of educational games, learn from the game mechanics, and have fun with your fellow attendees. In order to design effective game-based experiences, you need to play games yourself, and we’re bringing that experience right to you.
Put Your Improv Skills to the Test!
Kick-start the conference with a humorous hour of Presentation Roulette! In this fun improv competition, contestants receive a set of slides to speak to, but with a twist—they have no idea what their slides are or what order they are coming in! Join us, meet new people, and vote for your favorite or the funniest ad-libbed presentation.
Creative Storytelling via Visual Note-Taking
Sketchnotes use text and visuals to make the notes captured more engaging and easier to understand. They’re a great way for you and your fellow attendees to look at the sessions you've attended from a different point of view, remember what you learned, and share key session insights with people not at the conference.
What Are Sketchnotes?
The Sketchnote Army describes sketchnotes as “purposeful doodling while listening to something interesting. Sketchnotes don’t require high drawing skills, but do require a skill to visually synthesize and summarize via shapes, connectors, and text. Sketchnotes are as much a method of note-taking as they are a form of creative expression.”
Performance Support Community Meeting
