GS1 Becoming the Collaborative Leader

8:00 AM - 9:15 AM Monday, September 28

Any organization’s operating culture—including the learning function—is constructed through conversation and action, supported by relationships and trusted networks. Open behaviors that encourage people to surface their experiences, ideas, and opportunities across normal boundaries are a catalyst for employee engagement. Information and insights scale through integrated platforms, systemic leadership traits, and iterative approaches. It’s time for both leaders and employees (including everyone in the learning function) to become collaborative. When the organization becomes collaborative, the use and deployment of informal and social learning become that much easier. It’s time for new and open leadership. It’s time for a flat army.
